Summer On The Mount – Sacrificial Giving
Dillon Schupp   -

Jesus called His followers to make obedience to God their number one priority and to trust that He will provide all their needs (especially financial needs). There is far more to life than food, clothing, and money; one’s attention should not be concentrated on them but should be focused elsewhere. We must remember that Jesus lived in a society where shortage of food was much more common than in the Western world today. There is a beautiful picture painted where the Father is active throughout creation, caring for the birds and flowers. God will surely meet all of our real needs as well. Worry is pointless; trust is well based.
