Jesus wants His followers to give, pray, and fast with humility and the proper motivations. Whenever we give, pray, or fast we must evaluate our priorities and ensure that our deepest desire is to grow closer to God. Our giving and fasting is to be done in secret and our praying framed to eliminate distractions .
